Closed, this already seats eight, which puts it in the bracket of a farmhouse table rather than a dining table that expands for Christmas. Opened to 250 cm it takes ten. X Frames at Each End Keep Knees Clear

Nothing stands at the corners, so chairs can be placed anywhere along the sides and the people at the ends are not straddling a leg. A bench pushes right in under the frames when it is not in use, which on a table this long is how a kitchen stays passable. Solid oak with oak veneer in a medium oak tone.
