Ardara Console Table 100cm

The Ardara Console Table 100cm is an oak console table measuring 100 cm wide, 35 cm deep and 85 cm high, with two drawers and a slatted lower shelf.

Thirty-Five Centimetres Deep Against a Wall

A hallway is the hardest room to furnish because anything in it has to be passed. At 35 cm deep this console table holds tight to the wall and still carries a lamp, a bowl for keys and the day's post along its metre of length. The same piece works behind a sofa in a room where the seating floats rather than sitting against a wall.

Two Drawers and a Slatted Shelf

The drawers take the small things that would otherwise sit out, and the slatted shelf below holds a basket, a pair of boots or a stack of books without closing the piece in visually. At 85 cm the top is at the height a mirror wants above it. Solid oak with oak veneer in a medium oak tone, with brushed cup handles and a side table to match in the same range.

• Two drawers keep keys and post out of sight
