Corngold No.9915 is a mid yellow from the Farrow & Ball Archive Collection, with warm orange undertones. It sits in the mid band of the Farrow & Ball palette. It holds its character in both daylight and lamplight without dominating a room, which makes it as comfortable on a full set of walls as it is on joinery.

Using Corngold in a scheme

Dimity No.2008 is the white to run with it — it shares the same undertone, so ceilings, cornices and skirtings stay in the same key. For a scheme built on one colour, step up to Dayroom Yellow No.233 on walls and down to India Yellow No.66 on joinery.

Priming and light

Corngold sits right on the line between Mid Tones and White & Light Tones Primer & Undercoat — ask us and we will confirm which one your surface calls for. Irish light moves through the day and mid tones move with it. A test patch will show you how it reads in the morning and again under lamps.
