Viners Bead Table Spoon

The Viners Bead Table Spoon is a table spoon in mirror-polished 18/0 stainless steel, with the traditional English Bead pattern running around the handle. It is sold singly and is the largest spoon in the Bead range.

Serving Spoon for Vegetables and Sides

A table spoon is the size to use for serving vegetables, potatoes and side dishes at the dining table. The English Bead design dates from the 1750s, and its row of small beads around the handle was inspired by pearls.

Set one or two table spoons in the middle of the table, beside dishes of carrots, peas, mash or roast potatoes, so everyone can help themselves. It is also the spoon to use for dishing up rice, stew or trifle from a large bowl. The polished steel and beaded handle match the place settings, so the serving pieces look part of the same table rather than borrowed from the kitchen drawer.

Dishwasher-Safe Flatware for Family Meals

Two or three table spoons are usually enough for a family dinner, with a few more for Christmas when there are extra dishes. In the kitchen it doubles as a measuring and basting spoon. Buy it singly to go with the Bead knives, forks and dessert spoons you already have.

Mirror-polished 18/0 stainless steel is rust-resistant and dishwasher safe, so it copes with Sunday dinners and family meals week after week. It matches the rest of the Bead range, from knives and forks to teaspoons. See our dining collection or browse our kitchen and dining range.
