Viners Bead Table Knife

The Viners Bead Table Knife is a full-size table knife in mirror-polished 18/0 stainless steel, with the traditional English Bead pattern running around the handle. It is sold singly, so you can buy the exact number you need.

Traditional English Pattern Dinner Knife

The English Bead design dates from the 1750s, and its row of small beads around the handle was inspired by pearls. It suits a traditional table laid with white china as well as a plainer, modern setting.

The beaded edge gives the handle a little grip and catches the light along its length, while the mirror polish keeps the blade and handle bright on a set table. The handle is smooth and balanced, so it sits comfortably in the hand when carving through roast beef, chicken or a pork chop. Lay it to the right of the plate, blade facing in.

Main Place Setting Knife for Sunday Roasts

Buying singly is handy if a knife has gone missing over the years or if you need extra place settings for Christmas dinner. Most households want one per person plus a few spare for visitors. You can match it with the Bead table spoon, dessert fork and teaspoon as your budget allows.

As the main knife at each place setting, it is the piece you will reach for at weekday dinners and Sunday roasts alike. The steel is rust-resistant and dishwasher safe, and you can mix it with the other Bead knives, forks and spoons to build a full set.
