Tala Apple Corer and Wedger

The Tala Apple Corer and Wedger is a handheld kitchen gadget that removes the core and cuts an apple, pear or similar fruit into eight even segments in a single push. It handles apples, pears and similar fruit and comes in white and black.

Fruit Slicer for Eight Even Wedges

Press down over the fruit for neat wedges ready for lunchboxes, fruit salads and crumbles, with no fiddly knife work. It saves time when preparing tarts and snacks too.

Wide soft-touch handles spread the pressure for an easy, even cut.

Stand the fruit upright on a chopping board, centre the corer over the stalk and push down firmly with both hands. You are left with the core in the middle and eight wedges around it, ready to eat or bake. It speeds up packing lunchboxes for school and makes fruit easier for small children to manage. Older people with weaker grips may also find it easier than using a paring knife.

Sharp Steel Blades in a Compact Frame

For an apple tart or crumble, wedge the apples first and then slice each wedge thinner if needed. It also helps when slicing pears for a cheeseboard. Keep fingers clear of the blades when cleaning, and store it in a drawer. It is a useful kitchen extra for families, students and anyone who eats a lot of fruit.

Sharp stainless steel blades give clean wedges, and the compact white and black frame stores easily in a drawer. See more in our food preparation collection or browse our kitchen and dining range.
