Stellar Profile Matte 24 cm Frying Pan

The Stellar Profile Matte 24 cm Frying Pan is an everyday 18/10 stainless steel frying pan with straight sides and a matte brushed finish, sized for eggs, omelettes and meals for one or two. It is the smaller of the two Profile Matte frying pans.

Uncoated Stainless Skillet for a Golden Sear

The pure stainless steel surface has no coating, so it will never peel or degrade. It handles high heat well for a golden sear on fish, halloumi and vegetables.

A high-conductivity base spreads heat quickly and evenly, and it suits gas, ceramic, halogen, solid plate and induction hobs.

Stainless steel cooks differently from a non-stick pan, so it helps to know how to get the best from it. Heat the pan first, then add oil and wait until it shimmers before adding food. Let fish skin or halloumi brown properly and it will release on its own rather than tearing. The 24 cm size heats up quickly and suits a two-egg omelette, a single salmon fillet, a couple of rashers or a quick stir-fry for one.

Oven Safe Pan with Cast Steel Handle

Because there is no coating, you can use metal utensils and turn up the heat without worrying about damaging the surface. Start a frittata on the hob and finish it under the grill or in the oven, staying within 240 °C. When cooking is done it goes in the dishwasher. For family meals or searing steaks, look at the 28 cm Profile Matte pan in the same range.

The pan is oven safe up to 240 °C and goes in the dishwasher afterwards. A cast steel handle and matte finish suit any kitchen. See more in our cooking collection or browse our kitchen and dining range.
