Stellar Cast Light Clay 24 cm Casserole

The Stellar Cast Light Clay 24 cm Casserole is a lightweight enamelled cast iron casserole with a tempered glass lid, for dishes that start with a sear and finish with a slow simmer. It comes with a glass lid and can go from hob to oven to table.

Enamelled Cast Iron Pot for Stews and Braises

Brown meat or vegetables on the hob, then move the casserole to the oven for orzotto, pho or a winter stew. It works on gas, ceramic, halogen, solid plate and induction hobs.

It weighs around 50% less than traditional cast iron, and the PFAS-free honeycomb enamel builds a natural non-stick layer with every use.

A 24 cm casserole is a good size for a family stew, a beef and Guinness casserole, a chicken curry or a pot of soup. Brown the meat first, then cover and move it into the oven. Because it weighs about half as much as traditional cast iron, lifting it in and out of the oven is far easier when full.

Glass Lid and Brushed Gold-Tone Handles

The glass lid lets you see whether the stew needs more liquid without letting the heat out. Remember that the lid is oven safe to 180 °C, so for higher temperatures cook uncovered.
