Scatterbox Cushion Avianna Blue / Cloud Blue

The Scatterbox Cushion Avianna Blue / Cloud Blue is a scatter cushion in a linen-blend weave, available in several sizes.

Two Tones Woven Into a Broken Grid

Two tones are woven together so the lighter one shows through the darker in a soft broken grid. There is no print on the surface, which is why the pattern survives washing and daily use without fading at the folds. Both yarns are the same weight, so the face stays flat and the cover sits square on the filling.

Three Shapes for a Sofa or a Bed

A two-tone weave is easier to place than a bold print: it carries enough interest to break up a plain sofa, but it will not argue with a patterned rug on the floor. On a seat it puts colour at eye level, and it works under a plain throw. Behind the weave sits a feather pad, so the shape recovers between sittings. The cover is dry clean only, and the pad lifts out before it goes, which keeps the piping square.
