Scatterbox Carmen Floor Lamp Gold

The Scatterbox Carmen Floor Lamp Gold is a floor lamp in ribbed gold-toned metal on a travertine stone base, measuring 40.5 cm wide, 40.5 cm deep and 152.5 cm high.

A Ribbed Stem on a Pale Stone Foot

The stem is ribbed in fine vertical lines and finished in a warm gold tone, set on a squared block of pale travertine. Stone and metal is an old pairing, and it reads as weight at the bottom and lightness going up, which is what keeps a tall upright from looking top-heavy.

Standing Beside a Sofa or a Console

At 152.5 cm the shade clears the back of a sofa, and the 40.5 cm square foot is small enough to sit against a wall or in the return beside a sideboard. Travertine is a natural stone, so the pitting and veining differ piece to piece.
