Kilner Fresh Storage Rectangle 1.5 Litre

The Kilner Fresh Storage Rectangle 1.5 Litre is a large airtight rectangular glass food container with a borosilicate glass base and a vacuum seal lid. It measures 7.2 cm high, 23.2 cm wide and 16.6 cm deep and is the largest container in this range.

Oven-to-Fridge Dish for Batch Cooking

At 1.5 litres it is the size for batch cooking and family-sized leftovers. Bake a lasagne or crumble in the borosilicate glass base, then store it in the fridge or freezer and reheat it in the microwave, where the valve lets steam escape.

Cooking once and eating twice is easier with a dish that goes from oven to fridge. Make a shepherd's pie, bake or cottage pie, serve some for dinner, then seal the rest for another night. The 1.5 litre size also suits a batch of chilli or bolognese for the freezer, or a large salad for a barbecue.

Airtight Leakproof Lid for Family Leftovers

The vacuum seal keeps food airtight and leakproof, and BPA-free glass does not absorb odours or stains. See our kitchen storage collection, or browse our kitchen and dining range for more.

Close the valve when storing and open it to let steam out when reheating in the microwave. Because the base is glass, you can check what is inside at a glance and it will not keep the smell of last week's curry. For smaller portions, see the 0.63 litre rectangle or 0.8 litre square.

The containers stack neatly in fridges, freezers and cupboards, and both the lid and the base can go in the dishwasher, so cleaning up after a meal takes very little time.
