Judge Fine Mesh Shaker

The Judge Fine Mesh Shaker is a stainless steel dredger with a fine mesh top and a plastic storage lid, for dusting icing sugar evenly over cakes and desserts. It measures 10 x 7 x 7 cm and weighs 116 g.

Icing Sugar Duster for Cakes and Pancakes

The fine mesh gives a delicate, even dusting without clumps or heavy patches. Use it to finish sponges, pancakes, mince pies and hot chocolate.

At 10 cm tall it is easy to hold in one hand and tucks away in a cupboard.

A shaker gives a much more even finish than a sieve and spoon, and you can control where the sugar lands. Hold it about a hand's width above a Victoria sponge or chocolate cake for a light, even layer, or use a paper doily or stencil for a pattern. It is also good for dusting cocoa over a tiramisu or cappuccino, and for a light dusting of flour on a worktop before rolling pastry.

Stainless Steel Dredger with a Storage Lid

Store the shaker filled, with the lid on, so it is ready for the next batch of pancakes or mince pies. Make sure it is fully dry before refilling, as icing sugar clumps if it meets moisture. The steel body can go in the dishwasher. It is a handy small extra to add to a baking gift alongside a cooling rack or cookie cutter.

Fit the plastic lid after use to keep icing sugar dry between bakes. The stainless steel body is dishwasher safe. See more in our baking collection or browse our kitchen and dining range.
