Priming and light

Prime bare or previously painted surfaces with Farrow & Ball White & Light Tones Primer & Undercoat. Matching the primer to the depth of Lancaster Yellow gives truer colour and usually saves you a topcoat. Irish daylight is soft and often overcast, which pulls pale colours cooler on a north-facing wall than the card suggests. Try a tester on two walls first.
