Extra Long Beech Wooden Spoon 45 cm

The Extra Long Beech Wooden Spoon 45 cm is a smooth beech spoon with a long handle for stirring deep stockpots, jam pans and large batches.

Long Stirring Spoon for Deep Stockpots

The 45 cm length reaches the bottom of deep pots and keeps your hands well away from heat and steam. Explore our food preparation range.

It is useful for soups, stews, jams and homemade preserves.

Use it for a big batch of stew, a pot of stock simmering for the afternoon or a pan of blackberry jam, where splashes from the bottom of the pot can be very hot. It reaches into a slow cooker, a stockpot or a preserving pan without your knuckles touching the rim. The smooth beech is comfortable to hold, and wood does not carry heat the way a metal spoon does.

Safe for Non-Stick and Enamel Cookware

Wood will not scratch non-stick or enamel cookware. Hand wash and dry it after use. Find more cookware.

It is also handy for stirring a big bowl of Christmas pudding mix, where the whole family takes a turn, or for turning a large pot of chutney or marmalade. Wash it by hand in warm soapy water and dry it with a tea towel. Because of its length, it is best kept in a tall utensil jar rather than a drawer. It sits well alongside our three-piece beech spoon set.
