Embroidered Claddagh Ring Plaque

The Embroidered Claddagh Ring Plaque is a 17 cm sculpted wall plaque with colourful embroidered detail, showing the Claddagh ring with the words Friendship, Love and Loyalty.

Galway Wedding Symbol in Embroidered Thread

The Claddagh was first worn as a wedding ring over 400 years ago in the fishing village of Claddagh in Galway. That history makes this plaque a meaningful wedding or anniversary gift. Browse more Irish-made gifts.

It hangs easily in a hallway, kitchen or living room.

The words Friendship, Love and Loyalty match the three parts of the ring: the hands, the heart and the crown. The embroidered thread gives the plaque texture and colour that a flat print does not have. At H 17 x W 15 cm it is small enough for a short stretch of wall beside a door, a space above a kitchen dresser or a landing.

Gift-Boxed Wall Hanging Ready to Give

The plaque arrives in a lidded gift box, ready to give without extra wrapping. Dust it with a soft, dry cloth to keep the embroidery clean. See our gifts.

It is a good choice for a couple on their wedding day, a silver or ruby anniversary, or friends moving into their first home together. It also makes a meaningful gift for family abroad with Galway roots. Write a short message on a card and slip it inside the box, and once it is hung, dust it now and then with a soft, dry cloth.
