Eleganza Taupe Damask Wallpaper

The Eleganza Taupe Damask Wallpaper is a taupe non-woven wallpaper from the Eleganza collection with a classic damask motif on a silky texture. It is supplied on a 53 cm x 10 m roll with a 28 cm pattern repeat. It is a good choice for people who want a traditional pattern in a quieter, earthier shade.

Taupe Damask for Dining Rooms and Hallways

Taupe is a warm neutral, so the damask suits dining rooms, living rooms and hallways and sits well with both traditional and modern furniture. See more in our wallpaper range.

It works with cream, chocolate brown, stone and soft grey, so it is easy to match to existing carpets and sofas. Dark wood dining furniture and bronze or antique brass lighting suit it well.

In a hallway, it hides scuffs better than white or cream. In a dining room, use it on every wall for a traditional look, or above a dado rail with a painted wall below.

Silk-Effect Paper with a Short Pattern Repeat

The 28 cm repeat is short, which makes matching drops simple. Paste the wall and hang dry lengths from the roll, and it strips off dry later.

The silk-effect texture gives the damask a soft sheen that changes as the light moves across the room. Each roll covers about 5.3 square metres. Check that the first length is straight against a plumb line, as a symmetrical damask will show if it drifts. The breathable base resists shrinking and tearing.
