Claddagh Ring Fridge Magnet

The Claddagh Ring Fridge Magnet is a colourful resin magnet featuring the Claddagh ring, the Irish symbol of love, loyalty and friendship.

Galway Love Symbol with 400 Years of History

The Claddagh was first worn as a wedding ring over 400 years ago in Claddagh, Galway, and it is still a symbol of love today. The hands, heart and crown are picked out in bright colour.

The magnetic backing is strong enough to hold notes, photos and reminders. Browse more Irish-made gifts.

The design is easy to read: the hands stand for friendship, the heart for love and the crown for loyalty. By tradition, worn on the right hand with the heart facing out, the wearer is single, and turned inwards, their heart is taken. The ring is still chosen as an engagement or wedding ring today, so the symbol carries real meaning for many couples.
