Thinking of You at Christmas Cards – Gold Embossed Robin

The Thinking of You at Christmas Cards – Gold Embossed Robin feature a robin in gold-blocked embossing with the words “Thinking of You at Christmas”. Each card is 11.5 x 17 cm and printed on heavy, responsibly sourced card.

Christmas Greeting for Someone Far Away

This wording suits anyone you cannot see over Christmas: a relative abroad, a friend living alone or someone going through a hard year. It says you are keeping them in mind without needing a long message.

Christmas can be a lonely time for anyone spending it away from family, whether that is an emigrant in Australia, a friend in hospital or a neighbour facing their first Christmas after a bereavement. A card that simply says Thinking of You at Christmas can mean more than a long letter, because it shows you remembered them.

It also suits people you would like to keep in touch with but do not see often: a former colleague, an old school friend or a relative you have lost touch with. A short note inside, with your news or a phone number, is often all it needs.

The robin is a familiar Christmas bird in Ireland and a welcome visitor to gardens in winter, so the design feels at home on any mantelpiece.

Space for a Handwritten Note

The card works with a pen or calligraphy, so there is room to add a personal note inside. Browse more cards in our Christmas collection.

The robin is gold blocked and embossed, so the design has a raised feel you can run a finger over, and it shines softly in lamplight. Each card measures 11.5 x 17 cm, a size that suits ordinary envelopes and stands up well on a shelf.

The heavy card takes a fountain pen, gel pen or calligraphy, so you can write a proper message. It is made from responsibly sourced card, a good choice for anyone trying to cut waste at Christmas. Post cards for abroad early in December to be sure they arrive in time.
