Chef Aid Silicone Tongs

The Chef Aid Silicone Tongs are black heat-resistant kitchen tongs with silicone tips that grip food securely without scratching non-stick pans and coated cookware. They are a handy everyday utensil for anyone who has paid good money for a non-stick frying pan and wants to keep the coating in good condition.

Kitchen Tongs That Protect Non-Stick Pans

Turn sausages, rashers, chicken fillets and vegetables in the pan, toss a salad at the table or lift spaghetti and tagliatelle from the pot onto plates. The silicone tips protect delicate pan surfaces where metal tongs can leave scratches, and they hold food firmly enough that it does not slip back into the hot oil.

The heat-resistant tips suit frying, grilling and roasting, so the same pair can turn chops under the grill, move roast potatoes around the tray or pick corn on the cob off the barbecue.

The slim, lightweight design is easy to control with one hand, leaving the other free to hold the pan handle or a plate.

Heat-Resistant Black Utensil with Hanging Loop

They are easy to wash and quick to dry, so they are ready to go back in the drawer straight after the washing-up. A hanging loop keeps them tidy on a hook or utensil rail beside the cooker.

The plain black finish sits quietly with most other utensils and cookware. A pair is also a useful addition to a starter kit for a student or someone setting up a first home. See more in our cooking accessories collection or browse our food preparation range.
