Canyon Rug 52111-4848
The Canyon Rug 52111-4848 is a thick woven abstract rug using a Wilton weaving process. It is made in Belgium and has a relief structured surface, where certain areas of the yarn have been heat treated so that the design stands up slightly from the base.
The pile is a combination of polyester and heatset polypropylene, giving a textured look which changes subtly with the light. The rug weighs 3150 g/m² and has a pile height of 11mm which makes it feel heavier underfoot than lighter woven carpets.

Canyon carpets are created in Belgium by an established company employing a particular method that involves weaving and heat treatment of the rug. In this process some part of the yarn shrinks and this gives the relief look in the design.
The polyester yarns provide a modest colour variance in different light settings, most evident in natural daylight.
